Parker turns 7!

If you’ve been around a while you know that the month of April (not in a pandemic) is the busiest month for our family. It puts the holiday months and even Christmas to shame. My birthday, Parker’s birthday and Jims birthday all fall into the same few weeks along with other family members and the chaos of life that we are navigating with 3 small kids. Luckily, a majority of Parkers friends are all playing baseball this year and our weekends specifically Saturdays are taken up by games and practices. We made the decision to celebrate Parker’s birthday party a few weeks after his actual birthday and let me tell you, this might have been the best accidental planning I’ve ever done. We celebrated his birthday party with his closest friends on a Sunday which made for even less chaos of the weekend and allowed me to get party supplies ready on Saturday.

We rented a local video game truck that parks right outside my house and comes with the staff who hosts the kids inside the gaming truck. We weren’t having to travel to a party place, set up outside our house or worry about transporting all the party supplies. Best money I’ve ever spent on a birthday party!

Of course a certain little brother also thought it was HIS birthday 😉 Parker was such a good sport in letting his brother be a part of his birthday and his littlest brother napped the entire party! It was such a fun birthday for our biggest little guy.
