Little Dudes Room!

I am so excited to finally share our littlest dudes room! Towards the middle of my pregnancy I posted about the nursery inspiration I had found. Of course, we swayed a little from that original look – but I love how it turned out. Our entire house is grays, whites and a little neutral here or there. Our house has 3 wood burning fireplaces, lots of windows and brick, so when we bought it we felt that staying simple was the way to go. We kept my first sons room similar in style to our old house (grays, neutral etc.) so when we found out we were having another boy I knew I wanted to work in some color somewhere, and maybe even play with black and white rather than soft grays. My husband was a little hesitant about the all blue walls but I think its finally growing on him 😉 With elements of “Lions, Tigers and Bears” incorporated for a “theme” I was able to use prints from my all time favorite stationary designer, and a few finds from Target & of course hobby lobby, Etsy and amazon!

Some of the Rifle Paper Co. prints were actually greeting cards that I loved, so I enhanced the images in order to frame them because they are SO cute. The arrows on the walls were done with a piece of wood and wash cloth (thank you Pinterest!) I know our little guy won’t be spending too much time in here for a while but his older brother sure enjoys reading in his glider so I’m chalking that up to a successful nursery 😉 T – minus two weeks -ish till his arrival!

Thanks for stopping by! XO
