Say what?! The first wedding for June of 2016 is in the books?! And GOLD foil none the less!
I met Erika and Ryan… I don’t even know when. Ryan and I went to high school together (and maybe middle school?) so I’ve known about these love birds for a while. And when Facebook popped up with an “engagement” announcement I just about squealed. I was so excited for both of them, and then to get an email asking to help design their save the dates was the icing on the cake. From there on, the rest is history!
To be totally honest, this is probably only my second foil invitation suite. I had the hardest time finding a good printer that I liked, thats prices weren’t outrageous (disclaimer: foil invitations, especially custom designed will run a little steep compared to digitally printed invitation or templates on invitation sites.. but its worth it!)
As wedding styles change, brides are gravitating towards less “shabby chic” and simply, chic. I loved the watercolored graphics we used and the pops of champagne gold. I promise you, these photos do not do the invitations justice. The texture of the foil is seriously everything. We paired the invitations with a metallic purple envelope which made the whole suite come together perfectly!
Stay tuned for a few more designs for Erika & Ryans June wedding.
