Dawson’s cake smash

A few weeks ago we got to hang out with Sam from AB photo and snap a few pictures of Dawson with his smash cake. Of course, as the second child this was last minute, thrown together thing but the over the top excitement I had for all of Parker’s firsts killed me a little to think that we would miss out on those with Dawson (because #busylife). So naturally two weeks before – I book the photos, order some new clothes and attempt to bake a cake. Everything seemed to go well until that day, the clouds turned black and the rain wouldn’t stop all afternoon. Inside we went to take photos of Dawson inhaling a cake but as you’ll see below – the kid did not mind. 😉 (also, yes the carpet is fine)
